About Exhibition:

TITF takes a special place among exhibitions of the Central Asian region and it is considered as the most visited event in the country. This year Uzbekistan will host the 18th TITF.
114 companies participated in TITF-2011: 25 of them are local companies, 65 - foreign companies and 24 craftsmen. 10000 visitors attended the fair.

Nowadays, over 828 tourist organizations operate in the country, 318 companies have license to offer accommodation services. Last year more than 1 million international tourists visited Uzbekistan. 

Tourism in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan is the country of the greatest cities with hundreds architectural monuments of various epoch. Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Shahrisabz, Termez, Tashkent and Kokand are world renowned. These cities are coevals of Rome and Babylon, that reached the blossoming at the time of Amir Temur's (Tamerlane) board in 14th-15th centuries. There were the largest centers of a science and culture. The best minds of that time gathered there. The world has been amazed by luxury and magnificence of palaces, minarets, mosques, the mausoleums created by the well-known architects of the past. World renowned monuments of ancient architecture still remember times of gains of Alexander the Great and Genghis Khan. The Great Silk Road, one of the most considerable achievements in the history of world civilization, also laid through these cities.
Many efforts have been made for maintenance of comfortable and safe stay of tourists in these historical cities, filled with the spirit of olden time. There opened many new hotels and guest houses. New restaurants and cafes have reached international standards, modern vehicles, from cars, high-speed trains to comfortable tourist buses transport more and more tourists.
The high-mountainous village Chimgan (1650 meters above sea level) becomes more and more popular among admirers of ecological and extreme tourism. It is located 85 km from the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent. The unique mountain valley with its northern slopes, is a mounting skiing resort in Central Asia.

Why exhibit in Uzbekistan?

Tashkent is the largest city in Central Asia with a population of approximately 3 million people, with an additional two million people living in the surrounding regions. Uzbekistan has a population of approximately 27 million people and is the most populous republic in Central Asia.
Uzbekistan is the 5th largest producer of cotton and is the third largest cotton exporter. Uzbekistan occupies the 7th position in the gold mining and has the 4th largest gold reserves. Also Uzbekistan has rich reserves of natural gas, used for domestic consumption and export.
Uzbekistan has the largest consumer market among the Central Asian republics.
The key to developing substantial sales into this expanding market is to find the right local partner, who is financially strong, politically well connected, and can use their local knowledge to ensure your success.
